Founded in November 2024 by Tom and Gareth, local, helpful, client care focused, quality orientated, RICS accredited Surveyors, on the principle that our clients deserve and require more than good home surveys.

Gareth and Tom, the Co-Founders, Directors and RICS Surveyors at Goodby Martyn, deliver a tailor-made and professional service with personal touches. We care before the survey, during the survey and after the survey. We're here to help and support you.
Over 20 years combined building pathology, valuation and residential property surveying experience that you can trust and rely on.
We both have BSc Building Surveying degrees, both are Associate Members of the RICS (AssocRICS), both RICS Registered Valuers and our firm is Regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Together for over 20 years we have been surveying and valuing property in Yorkshire. We only inspect, survey and value in areas we know, live or have worked in.

Green, Amber, Red. Condition Rating 1, 2 & 3. Clear, precise Home Survey reports with condition ratings on each building element that you can trust and rely on. Gareth and Tom will also provide an InBrief Debrief following the inspection to give you a breakdown of the key findings ahead of receiving your completed survey report.
